Solano EDC July 30th Breakfast in Fairfield

You are invited to the Solano EDC “Health Care at the Crossroads” breakfast meeting on July 30th!
Speakers are Jack Horn, CEO of Partnership HealthPlan of California and Assemblymember Lois Wolk, California State Assembly.

Budget cuts that took effect July 1 put hundreds of thousands of Californians at risk of losing access to quality health care. And more cuts are being considered. What does it mean to employers and those with health care benefits when the system is so drastically weakened? Partnership HealthPlan of California is the lifeline for thousands of local residents. But our most vulnerable are at risk of losing this invaluable program. State funding issues may force the Partnership to close its doors. This hugely successful program not only opens the door for health care to uninsured children and low- and middle-income residents, but also saves the state money. Why is a program that helps 5,500 of its members obtain access to primary care providers at risk? And what does it mean to you?
