What’s the impact to our economy?
Governor Brown’s 2011-12 budget will shut down redevelopment agencies in California along with realignment of State programs by passing responsibility to counties and cities. The elimination of Redevelopment Agencies takes away the major economic development and affordable housing financing tools from the Cities of Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville and Vallejo
This breakfast will feature Jim Wunderman, CEO of the Bay Area Council just back from meetings with the Governor and other key state leaders. Jim will provide the budget impacts and regional view.
