The Solano EDC
is pleased to announce that we are once again collaborating with the North
Bay Business Journal to present the annual Impact Solano conference
on Sept. 26. The conference will explore the future of the Solano County
economy as well as the latest challenges and opportunities for local
businesses, such as alternative energy production.
A number of the
region’s business leaders will be providing their insights. Robert Eyler,
Ph.D., chair of the economics department at Sonoma State University and
director of the Center for Regional Economic Analysis, will be the keynote speaker.
Other speakers
will include Kevin Finger, general manager of Anheuser-Busch’s Fairfield
brewery, and Doug Fuller, process engineer at Blu Homes, whose main
manufacturing plant is on Mare Island in Vallejo.
Seating at the
event, held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfield on Sept. 26, is limited.
Tickets are $45 per person and $450 for a table of 10. Registration begins at 8
a.m., and the program spans from 8:30–10:30 a.m. Continental breakfast is
included, along with a subscription to the Business Journal for new
subscribers.
